Nonesuch Notes

A series of interesting and sometimes informative examples of designs, experimental printings and specimens of currency that never made it to general circulation - unadopted, cancelled, and; alternate versions of issued notes.

This section is currently focused on China but will eventually expand to include examples from the rest of Asia
Nonesuch Notes Part I: mixed issuers

The first part of a showcase of little known or unissued Chinese paper money and designs. Color trials, artists and engravers 'essays' and proofs among other material will be shown here. Part I displays items for a mixture of issuers.
