Kouang Tcheou: The French in China (under construction)

Kouang-Tchéou-Wan - Kwangchow Wan - Quang-Tchéou-Wan - Guangzhouwan

Now little known, Kouang-tcheou was a French colonial territory in the Kwangtung (Guangdong) Province of Southern China. It could be thought of as a smaller and less successful French 'Hong Kong', and was administered as part of French Indochina.
